Ports per station — rising fast
Private deployment is the story, not NEVI
NEVI-funded ports represent only ~3% of all new DCFC ports deployed in 2025. Tesla, Ionna, Electrify America, and new entrants like Walmart and Mercedes-Benz are driving the real buildout.
🔌
Power levels are rising fast
In Q4 2025, over 51% of non-Tesla new chargers were rated at 250 kW or higher — mostly 350–400 kW. The era of 50 kW DCFC is over. New stations are being built for speed.
🔗
NACS is coming — but CCS still dominates
NEVI now requires both CCS and NACS connectors at new sites. In Q4 2025, 716 NACS connectors were deployed by non-Tesla networks — growing fast but CCS remains primary on public networks.
